Danone: less methane in the supply chain
Danone has announced that it will reduce methane emissions from its fresh milk supply chain by 30% by 2030.
By emitting less methane, the dairy company aims to reduce the carbon footprint of its supply chain. The target is in line with the global methane commitment signed by 150 countries at the COP2021 climate conference of the United Nations. Danone has already decreased its greenhouse gas emissions in the fresh milk supply chain by 20% between 2014 and 2018. //
