Food waste should be reduced
Food waste should be reduced, Hungary is on a good track to fight against the food waste in households – the Minister of State of the Ministry of Agriculture, responsible for Food Chain Management, told at the LIFE Food Waste Platform International Conference on the Mitigation of Food Waste on Monday in Budapest.
Zsigó Róbert emphasized that the Ministry of Agriculture and the National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih) also joined to the Program for the Prevention of Food Waste that was launched in 2016. The most important objective of the EU LIFE’s initiative is consumer awareness. (MTI)
