Retail sales grew by 5.6 percent in 2017 in the Czech Republic
In the Czech Republic, retail sales grew by 5.6 percent in a year-on-year comparision, according to the Czech Statistical Office (CSÚ).
Calendar effect adjusted (two workdays less than in 2016) and according to the cleared data, the growth was 6.1 percent.
The sales of internet stores and delivery services grew at the fastest pace with more than 21 percent last year.
In the Czech Republic, the turnover of the automotive and service sectors has not been calculated for the third year into the retail sales. (Kokes János, MTI)
