Spar’s revenue grew nearly 9 percent last year
The Spar Magyarország Kereskedelmi Kft. achieved 738.9 billion HUF in sales in 2020, despite the challenges caused by the coronavirus epidemic, an increase of 8.7 percent, compared to the previous year – Heiszler Gabriella, the company’s managing director, at the company’s online press conference said on Wednesday.
The company operated 588 stores at the end of last year, 34 Interspar hypermarkets, 347 supermarkets and 207 franchise stores. The number of employees exceeded 14,000, so at the end of last year, five hundred more people worked for the company compared to 2019. (MTI)
