Nespresso has spent almost 170 billion HUF on sustainability over 6 years
Among the measures, the reduction of CO2 emissions was highlighted. The remaining share of emissions will be offset by tree planting, with the company planting 4.5 million trees in coffee-growing areas last year. They added that 95 percent of raw materials are sourced from sustainable farms, in addition to increasing the use of biogas and the proportion of recycled materials in coffee machines and coffee capsules.
