This is encouraged by the call to support the cooperation of irrigation communities, in connection with which another 10 communities will receive almost HUF 750 million. In recent years, the Hungarian government has also paid special attention to the catch-up of homestead areas, contributing both from national and EU sources to the improvement of the quality of life of the population living on homesteads and the population retention capacity of the countryside. More than HUF 1 billion worth of new decisions have also been made within the framework of the call for tenders supporting the development of household-scale electricity and water supply, as well as wastewater treatment.
