Magazine: Celebrating Hungarian quality
The Hungarian Product Grand Prize diplomas were distributed for the 20th time in the building of the Hungarian Parliament on 5 September. At the gala ceremony no less than 54 companies received the document that entitles them to use the Hungarian Product Trademark on 64 products and services. Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly István Jakab and secretary of state of the Prime Minister’s Office Árpád János Potápi handed over the diplomas to the winners.
Károlyné Kiss told after the ceremony that she considers it to be the greatest achievement of the programme that the diplomas were presented in the Parliament building. She added that they analyse the programme’s experiences every year and make changes accordingly. This year the Hungarian Product Grand Prize focused on integrated solutions, energy efficiency and the respect for traditions. 9.3 percent of this year’s winners are operating outside of Hungary. The Hungarian Product Grand Prize is Hungary’s most objective certification system. //
