Potato association: next year’s harvest is also threatened by farmers’ uncertainty
The extension of the price cap to all potato varieties put domestic producers in a difficult situation. Éva Kulich, press representative of the National Potato Association and Product Council, spoke to ATV about the situation.
“Therefore, the situation of potatoes is more complex than that of the previous price-capped products, because practically all currently commercially available potatoes, packaging and types, are already subject to the price-capped restrictions”
– he told ATV Hírado on Sunday evening.
