Budai: The Hungarian companies meet all the Russian food safety standards
An examination revealed that the Hungarian companies meet all the Russian food safety standards, so deliveries can start immediately after the Russian decision – Budai Gyula, Ministerial Commissioner told M1 Híradó.
“These companies were already in the Russian market and exported a significant amount of products, including significant quantities of mainly pork and poultry products, so we are in advantage, compared to a number of EU countries” – Budai Gyula added.
Russia prohibited the imports of meat, fruit and vegetable products from EU countries, in response to the economic measures against Russia. Only the Hungarian agriculture lost 10 billion HUF, due to this measure. (MTI)
