Razor for every case
Hair removal can be temporary or permanent, regular or occasional, simple or omplicated. As the weather keeps getting better, women – and not only them – find it more urgent to perform hair removal. Some prefer chemical solutions – creams and foams, while others like mechanical hair removal – shaving, waxing, depilation.
Testers usually find razors the quickest solution. Surprisingly, razor sales are down in term of both value and volume. However, Wilkinson managed to decline less than the market average in volume and to grow in value – says Zita Sebők, marketing leader at Energizer Magyarország Kft. In the last four months Wilkinson sold the most women’s shavers in Hungary. The disposable razor segment expanded its market share, in terms of both value and volume. Drugstores and hypermarkets realise the larger part of value sales. In the past period both market players introduced new extra blades, with the aim of facilitating an irritationfree shaving. Last year Wilkinson’s new product was the Extra 3 range, a 3-blade razor for men and women. Their next product for men will be Quattro Titanium Body, a battery-operated razor nd bodyhair trimmer. The company will also come out with Quattro for Women Bikini, which was already available in Christmas packs last year. It is every woman’s dream: a razor and bikini-line trimmer in one. It is waterproof, so it can be used under the shower as well. In the spring Wilkinson will appear on store shelves with a fresher look.
