Borbély Tamás is the Wine Producer of the Year

On December 4, 2020, the winner of the title of “Wine Producer of the Year in Hungary 2020”, the most prestigious Hungarian award for Hungarian winemakers, was announced in the framework of an online press conference.

The award does not mean recognizing the excellent quality of a wine, but can be given for the outstanding wine producer’s many years of outstanding performance, constant, high quality of his wines, their success at home and abroad, and his efforts for the wine profession.

Among the contestants for the award, the six winners who received the most votes in the nomination (in alphabetical order):

Figula Mihály (Balatonfüred-Csopak wine region)

Ipacs-Szabó István (Villány wine region)

Liptai Zsolt (Pannonhalma wine region)

Nyúlné dr. Pühra Beáta (Etyek-Buda wine region)
