BASF is optimistic about the future
Vincent Gros, leader of BASF's Agrodivision Europe Group is optimistic when it comes to the future of agriculture. The company's annual conference took place in the Millenáris Park, in the Jövő háza building. The role of innovation will be triggered by expanding population and growing demands for fields and food.
According to recent research, the world's demand for feed doubles by 2030, and the only way to satisfy growing demands will be to establish real partnership within the agricultural sector, in order to reach sustainability. BASF is not going to change its strategy in 2011: in 2009, 3 new products were introduced to the Hungarian market, which were followed by 3 new ones in 2010. In 2011, 3 new products are going to be launched: Scala, Jumbo Turbo and Osiris.
