Promising digitalisation level of Hungarian SMEs with a high business potential
According to the results of UniCredit Bank and Inspira Research’s Business Potential study, Hungarian SMEs with a high business potential are of the opinion that only new technology-based solutions qualify as innovation such as developing a CRM system. Multichannel and intensive online presence are characteristic of these businesses.
85 percent have a website, 68 percent use Facebook and 26 percent run an online shop. 45 percent of companies with a high business potential have heard about fintech, but only 10 percent use it; another 20 percent plan starting to adopt it in the long run. However, only 5-10 percent of enterprises would be willing to make their bank and accounting data available to a non-bank online service provider.
Family business have to think twice before investing in any type of innovation, so it doesn’t come as a surprise that non-family businesses show stronger signs of going digital in fields such as logistics, financial planning, invoicing, stock management and business management systems. With a revenue above HUF 700 million companies strongly focus on building a modern, digital business management system. Companies that make HUF 51-700 million are concentrating more on customer relationship management, on having a CRM system. //
