More optimistic firms
Gábor Rajna, the head of K&H’s business banking division told our magazine: companies had to face many difficulties in the previous years, but their optimism is definitely growing now.

In the last two quarters both SMEs and large businesses had better expectations, following the nadir of Q3 in 2022. Dávid Németh, senior analyst of K&H added that there is still great inflationary pressure, and it is unlikely that we will have a single-digit inflation before the end of the year. This means that retail sales are likely to drop for an extended period. //
