Bisnode the number of new companies increased in the first half of the year
Several years of downward trend has been reversed. Now the number of new businesses grew by 5.9 percent in the first six months in Hungary, compared to the first half of last year, but due to the high number of closures, the number of companies operating continues to decline- the Bisnode Magyarország Kft. told MTI on Friday.
The Bisnode’s analysis showed that, although the first half-year improvement is undoubtedly positive, however its rate is still low compared to the decline of the previous years. The Bisnode points out that while in 2010 a record number of nearly 50 thousand companies were founded, a 20 percent decline occured in 2011, and then a steady decrease came in the number of newly founded companies.
