Organic gardening in the Seoul subway
An underground farm was built at one of the stations on the South Korean subway to provide food to the population in a sustainable and environmentally friendly way – origo wrote, after BBC.
Seven million people travel the Seoul subway every day, but the Sangdo Station is different from the rest in that it has an underground organic farm – which is lit by LED lights – and is separated from the passengers by glass panels. (origo)
