BioFach: Hungarian visitors in top 10
Looking at the statistics of the BioFach exhibition, Hungarians seem to display a deep interest in the bio-market by international standards. 530 Hungarians have been registered at the last exhibition, which puts us in the top 10 among 112 countries. 2,600 exhibitors, including 30 Hungarian companies are expected to attend the next event to be held in Nurnberg between 21-24. February. At present, the world market of bio products is estimated to be worth USD 40 billion per year, and this is expected to rise to USD 60 billion by 2010. In Hungary, only 3 per cent of cultivated land is used for bio-production at the moment.
