The head of the consumer protection authority said in a statement on Thursday that Xindex Eco Kft., which has a workplace in Málnás but is registered in Csíkszentmárton, was fined for the production of the product. The product is distributed by Lixid Project Kft., the manufacturer of Csíki Beer, registered in Csíkszentsimon, and although the Hargita county consumer protection office also inspected this company, they were not penalized because they do not manufacture the product.
