Tesco enters to the community media market
Tesco buys the BzzAgent U.S. community media marketing agency for sixty million dollars – reports AdAge, citing sources familiar with the deal.
The BzzAgent is a Boston-based startup that specializes on spoken word marketing campaigns, and worked for inter alia, to Unilever, L'Oreal and Michelin. The company persuaded about 800 thousand volunteers in the United States to try out various products. The company does not pay to the volunteers, and does not require them to write about the product – reports kreativ.hu, after AdAge.
