Sunflower harvest is finished in Békés County
The sunflower harvest is completed in Békés County. According to the Chairman of the Coordination Committee, the crop is good, but there are problems with the buying prices.
Kozsuch Kornél told MTI on Tuesday that sunflower was cultivated on 75 thousand hectares in Békés County this year. The average yield per hectare was 2.7 tonnes. The total yield is close to 201 thousand tonnes. The quality of sunflower is good, its oil content is as required. (MTI)
