Peach festival in Boldogkőváralja
The Gönci Barack Vigasság (Gönci Peach Feast) will be held for the second time in Boldogkőváralja.
Among the variety of unique products of the Abaúj region apricots are probably the most famous. The typical peaches of the area are Hungarian apricot, Gönci Hungarian apricot, the Purple Kajszi of Cegléd and Pannonia varieties.
At the feast, lasting from 12 to 14 July, delicacies made of apricots – jam, syrup, pancakes, potato scone, pies, ice cream and of course pálinka will welcome the visitors. On Sunday, Fűszeres Eszter gastro blogger will cook a lunch for charitable purposes.
Live music acts will be Budapest Bár, Alma, Rúzsa Magdi, Számadó, Esthajnal Zenekar, the Gasztrobloggerek, the Csiribiri and the Bányai Unplugged Band. (MTI)
