Bamboo milk could replace cow’s milk
A new study published in Trends in Food Science & Technology outlines the potential of bamboo as a key raw material to feed the world’s growing population.

A staple of the panda diet, bamboo is a great source of protein, because its amino acid content is higher than that of many other vegetables and its protein content is almost equal to that of cow’s milk, according to the study. No one has ever made milk from bamboo, but the growth of the milk substitute industry shows how many plants can be used to make “milk”. //
