Entrepreneurs of the Lake Balaton: wage demands are unrealistic
The start of the season is more difficult than ever before due to the lack of skilled workers and unrealistic pay demands at Lake Balaton, but due to rising earnings young people who are working abroad are coming back – entrepreneurs of South Balaton said at a forum in Balatonszárszó on Tuesday.
Rezső Kertész, Executive Co-President of the Kisosz (Trade and Catering Entrepreneurs’ Somogy County Interests Representation) organization, told that the biggest problem is the lack of workforce in the region. First of all, there is a lack of qualified and skilled workforce, which will be mitigated by university students and college students from July – he added. (MTI)
