This year, a confectioner from Balatonfüred has the ice cream of the year

The Szőke zserbó ice cream of Dobó Norbert confectioner from Balatonfüred won the Ice Cream of the Year Cup and the gold medal at this year’s competition of the Hungarian Confectionery Industry Association – the organizers announced at a press conference in Budapest on Tuesday.

The final of the professional competition, organized every year since 1998, was held on Tuesday in Budapest. Ice creams nominated for the Ice Cream of the Year competition announced by the Hungarian Confectionery Association could only be made with natural basic and additional ingredients, flavored and decorated exclusively with self-made toppings.
