Nearly 90 percent of the winter wheat was harvested in Zala County
So far, 88 percent of the winter wheat was harvested in Zala County on a more than 20 thousand hectares of area. The average yield was 5.18 tons per hectare – the Ministry of Agriculture (FM) told MTI.
While last year due to the high rainfall 65-70 percent of the feed became feed wheat and the eating quality wheat amounted to only 30-35 percent, among this year's dry conditions, the ratio was reversed. (MTI)
