Looking for cohesion

László Kemendy has become the new chairman of the Hungarian Association of Grape and Wine Producers (MSZBSZ). He has been an employee of Törley Pezsgőpincészet since graduating from university in 1987. He had held various positions before becoming technical managing director of Hungarovin Rt. – Törley Pezsgőpincészet Kft. I accepted the position of chairman, because I wish to see MSZBSZ getting stronger and representing the interests of Hungarian wine producers. I want to improve cohesion in the Association and to represent a united and uniform opinion in issues which effect us. We need to represent a very definite position regarding the interests of Hungarian wine producers in connection with the new EU wine legislation. According to his experience, MSZBSZ is a heterogeneous organisation, where the different interests of various size enterprises need to harmonised. The Association and the wine producing lobby in general is not too organised and financial discipline is absent. This would be completely unacceptable in business. These things need to be remedied immediately.
