The call of OKSZ for the safe shopping of the families
On 11 March, 2020, the Government announced the declaration of an emergency.
The member companies of the National Trade Association (OKSZ) (ALDI, AUCHAN, LIDL, METRO, PENNY MARKET, SPAR, TESCO) continuously monitor the market situation. The Association maintains a lively relationship and cooperates with the government, the authorities and the also with suppliers.
OKSZ member companies, in cooperation with their suppliers, are doing their best to manage the increased demand, as in recent weeks. However, in some shorter periods, the completion rate of some items in a store may be longer than usual due to the time it takes to replace the goods (order from the manufacturer, delivery, loading). So far, supermarkets have been able to replace the food they have run out of shelves, as manufacturers fulfill the orders of dealers.
