OECD expects the wage convergence in Hungary
The increase in earnings was the second highest last year in Hungary among the 28 member states of the European Union – Szalai Piroska, advisor of the Ministry of National Economy told Magyar Idők.
She pointed out that all signs suggest that this year’s real earnings rise above the eight percent in real terms that will result in a gross salary increase of around ten percent.
According to the OECD’s forecast issued in December, based on the dollar base, the biggest wage increase in 2018 is expected in Hungary. (magyaridok.hu, Nagy Kristóf)
