M&S extends test period for refill programme
Marks & Spencer has decided to extend the test period of its refill project, which allows customers to refill food products using their own containers. The retailer revealed: more than three quarters of consumers were actively trying to reduce the amount of packaging they use. The first project took place in M&S’s Southampton store, which offered 44 packaging-free products from coffee to confectionery.
