The guild’s vice president who is responsible for trade matters
Ferenc Horváth became the guild’s vice president responsible for trade matters in 2015. He told our magazine that back then his main task had been recruiting new members, but he had also intended to focus on building an interest representing network. Under his leadership the guild makes great efforts to give confectioners the opportunity to train themselves and learn new things. The guild is organising trade days, courses and professional gatherings. At the moment they are busy building their new headquarters. Mr Horváth informed us that they established an ice cream working committee, which will lay down the requirements of making quality ice cream, and hopes to have them included in the Hungarian Food Book. //
