The IMF further worsens its growth forecast for the world economy
Rising food and energy prices, slowing capital inflows to emerging markets, the coronavirus pandemic and weakening Chinese economic growth are “much more challenging” for decision-makers than previously expected, said Pazarbasioglu. “We see crisis after crisis, which is really hitting the world economy,” Bloomberg quoted Pazarbasioglu as saying.
