The European Commission has published a report the on prospects for the development of EU plant protein production, which describes a number of existing policy instruments and new proposals that can contribute to the development of the economic and environmental potential of protein crops.
According to the information, the report reviews, among other things, the supply and demand situation of rape, sunflower seed, lentil in the European Union and examines how to further promote the production of plant proteins economically and environmentally consciously. (MTI)
