According to Nagy István, Minister of Agriculture, the verdict of the European Court of Justice further strengthens the domestic GMO-free strategy.
The court in its verdict, published on Wednesday told that the European Union’s rules on GMOs should be applied to organisms created by new techniques of mutagenesis, as they should also be considered as GMOs. (MTI)
