The Cuvée of the Eszterbauer winery became the year's top wine in Szekszárd

Eszterbauer winery’s cuvee made of Cabernet Franc and Merlot became the best red wine of the Szekszárd wine region’s wine competition this year.

For the twelfth edition of the historic competition, held on Thursday, about fifty small producers, wineries of the region took part on the event with a total of 220, mostly red wines. Most of the samples were from 2009 and 2011. Mostly Cuvées,  Gamays, Cabernet Francs and Kadarkas were sent to the competition. (MTI)
