With the module on the cycle of energy, the series of educational materials presenting the circular economy of Coca-Cola Hungary’s #énjövőm platform continues
After the online course material presenting the basics of the circular economy and the water cycle, the educational module presenting the energy cycle has also become available on Coca-Cola Hungary’s #énjövőm platform. The new module explores the issues and challenges of individual and industrial energy use, and presents the advantages of environmentally conscious energy use through vivid domestic and international examples. Similar to the previous materials, this module was compiled by the teachers of the Nagykanizsa – Circular Economy University Center of the Pannon University for the #énjövőm program.
One of the most important issues in the economy of our time is energy security. We use an ever-increasing amount of energy to operate our economy and civilization, but this process has a price: the scarcity of natural resources and the continuous increase in energy consumption cause huge environmental and economic challenges. The long-term, sustainable solution in energy use is also the principle of circularity, which is based on the principles of recycling and efficient use of energy and resources. This not only serves to protect our environment, but also brings many economic and social benefits.
In the circular economy, environmentally conscious energy use is the basis of a more stable and sustainable economy in the long term. Energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy sources increase the competitiveness of companies and reduce environmental risks. In the circular economy, the introduction of environmentally conscious energy use systems encourages consumer awareness. Applying this creates an opportunity for people to better understand the effects of their energy use and to actively participate in measures to promote energy efficiency and sustainability.
