The Food Rescue Center is helping again!
The Food Rescue Center Nonprofit Ltd. (ÉMK) is launching this year’s Easter Food Donation Charity Campaign, within the framework of which donations are being accepted for members of the National Association of Large Families (NOE) until April 7.
The purpose of the charitable campaign is twofold. On the one hand, they would like to draw attention to the importance of donating food generated at retail stores that can no longer be sold but is still perfectly suitable for consumption. On the other hand, as with the previous ones, they would like to provide targeted assistance to members of a domestic civil organization with this charity campaign.
The Easter Food Donation Charity Campaign started in mid-March and will last until April 7. Donations can be made by domestic companies, from whom they primarily expect non-perishable food, while donations from private individuals will be collected on another occasion. The food packages will be delivered by ÉMK to NOE member organizations nationwide.
Donations from Hungarian companies are welcome at adomany@emkp.hu or by calling 06 30 728-6220.
The Food Rescue Center has already launched several charitable food collection campaigns, in which it has delivered food donations from Hungarian companies to those in need. In the campaigns so far, food packages have been delivered to members of the National Association of People with Intellectual Disabilities and Their Helpers (ÉFOÉSZ), the National Association of the Hungarian Blind and Visually Impaired (MVGYOSZ), the Single Parent Center, and the National Association of Associations of the Disabled (MEOSZ).
Thanks to the donations, more than 45 tons of food donations worth tens of millions of forints were collected and delivered to the beneficiaries during the campaigns.
