The majority of job seekers miss the salary offered most from the ads – industry overview of current salaries
In addition to employees, companies also need information on current salaries within the industry. This knowledge can significantly contribute to effective workforce management, as well as retaining existing colleagues and acquiring new talent. Profession Services has now prepared a comprehensive analysis to support this.
Profession Services has compiled and released its first industry benchmark publication, freely available to anyone. The purpose of the analysis is to give the various industry players an accurate picture of the current situation, trends, wages and the current state of the labor market in their own sector.
The question of salary is becoming more and more important for companies and candidates. A representative survey by Profession.hu at the end of last year revealed that the level of salary is the most important motivating factor for employees. As a result, one of the pivotal parts of the job advertisement is the salary associated with the given position, on the basis of which the potential candidate can find information. Failure to do so is the biggest problem for almost 70% of employees during the search.
“In the case of advertisements containing salaries, we experience a significant increase in the number of applications for both physical and intellectual positions. We are currently in a labor market environment where companies need to focus more consciously on recruitment, make quick decisions and make offers to the right candidates in order to be competitive in the fight for employees”
Nikoletta Szigeti, business manager of Profession Services, explains one of the main advantages of wage transparency.
