The Chamber of Agriculture initiated the proclamation of a period of persistent water scarcity
On the basis of hydrometeorological conditions and forecasts, the National Chamber of Agricultural Economy (NAK) initiated the proclamation of a period of persistent water scarcity at the Ministry of The Interior. During this period, no water resource contribution is payable to farmers, and on one occasion after notification, exceptional water use for irrigation purposes is possible without a water licence, NAK told MTI on Friday.
