Americans develop automated farms

A new scientific institute, AIFARMS, has been established in the United States to develop the automated farms of the future – Future Farming wrote. The National Artificial Intelligence Research Institutes program, which brings together artificial intelligence research institutes, has donated 20 million USD to one of the newest institutes at the University of Illinois to explore the potential role of artificial intelligence in future agriculture, resilience, management and sustainability. The AIFARMS Institute will collaborate in research with the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Institute of Agriculture and Food. (agrarszektor.hu)
