In August, the number of jobseekers decreased by 6.7 percent
The number of registered jobseekers decreased by 6.7 percent in Hungary over a year, according to the National Employment Service (NFSZ). On the closing day of August, there were 251,300 jobseekers, more than 18,000 less than a year ago.
The NFSZ reported on its website that in August the registered jobseekers’ ratio was 5.4 percent, compared to the economically active population and the relative rate of employment for the working age population was 3.7 percent. Győr-Moson-Sopron County still has the lowest number of jobseekers. (MTI)
