Auckland, New Zealand, is the most livable city in the world, according to The Economist’s sister company, the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU).

The coronavirus pandemic has quite overturned the previous order. EIU, set up its list most recently in 2019, when Vienna finished the first place. The Austrian capital was ranked 12th this time. The EIU has not published the full list.

In addition to the cities of New Zealand, Japan and Australia, only two European cities were in the top ten: Zurich and Geneva in seventh and eighth place. (MTI)
