Nébih held a comprehensive inspection of fruit and vegetables in the Budapest markets
In the 16 largest markets in Budapest, 271 traders and primary producers were inspected by experts of the National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih). 110 warnings were imposed for minor errors, fines were imposed in 20 cases for more serious errors, in a total value of 2.5 million HUF.
According to Nébih’s statement published on Wednesday, a series of inspections over the past six months have examined compliance with the requirements for the marketing of fruit and vegetables and the “authenticity” of primary producers by the agency’s inspectors. (MTI)
