For the second time this year, the trademarks of the Green Pledge application launched by ÖRT, MMSZ and MAKSZ were awarded. This year’s winners of the initiative, which emphasizes the environmental awareness of the advertising industry, are: Alfa Vienna, Artificial Group, Henkel, K&H, Kia, Mastercard, Mediator, Neo Interactive, reNEW Technologies, SPAR, Uniomedia, Well PR and With yet. The awards were received by the representatives of the award-winning companies at the Marketing Summit held on September 19 at the MÜPA.
The Green Pledge initiative was launched by the Self-Regulatory Advertising Board (ÖRT), the Hungarian Marketing Association (MMSZ) and the Association of Hungarian Communication Agencies (MAKSZ) in 2022 with the aim that the actors of the domestic marketing and advertising industry should during the preparation of marketing communication exercises, pay even more attention to environmental protection, the appropriate representation of the environment, and the avoidance of greenwashing.
The trademark certifying this was once again awarded to the organizations and companies that presented their exemplary results on the subject to the 20-member professional panel with case studies containing photos and data.
This year, 13 of the applicants – Alfa Vienna, Artificial Group, Henkel, K&H, Kia, Mastercard, Mediator, Neo Interactive, reNEW Technologies, SPAR, Uniomedia, Well PR and Yettel received the Green Pledge trademarks in a ceremonial setting on September 19, at the Marketing Summit held at MÜPA.
