The first Green Pledge trademarks were awarded
In the framework of the Green Pledge program, successful applicants were presented with the Green Pledge awards, which were awarded by seven companies – Dentsu, Henkel, E.ON, Velux, Mastercard, K&H Bank and Well PR – ten, environmental protection and sustainability aspects was awarded by his application presenting its application in advertising practice.
The three founding professional organizations MAKSZ, MMSZ and ÖRT jointly decided to create a program that focuses on an environmentally conscious approach to advertising practice and emphasizing its importance. The successful applicants: Dentsu, Henkel, E.ON, Velux, Mastercard, K&H Bank and Well PR received their awards at the award ceremony. Among other things, the tenders presented the reuse of advertising materials (e.g. the creative reuse of building mesh and citylight posters), carbon footprint-based media planning, the application of sustainability aspects at events and the appropriate use of green claims.
I would like to point out that the Green Pledge is not only about joining the idea, here you need more than promises, here only the power of actions matters. In line with these ideas, the jury focused on the concrete action points that the applicants, actors in the advertising industry, implemented during their advertising practice. said dr. Gyula Bándi is the president of the jury, the deputy of the commissioner of fundamental rights who protects the interests of future generations, and the green ombudsman. The Green Pledge is a great example of how our profession is constantly dealing with current and important areas for society, and the responses to related challenges prove the profession’s responsible thinking.
