Great demand for own branded products in the U.S. and New Zealand
Recession significantly changed the eating habits of the citizens of New Zealand and U.S.A. More and more people purchase sensible and economical, while fewer and fewer choose to takeaway meals.
According to Kidspot New Zealand’s survey; at least third of the families changed their eating habits. As the result of the price increases more and more people are looking for independent traders, and watching for special offers, as well as choosing the own branded products of the shops, especially in basic foodstuffs. The research shows, that families purchase less meat, due to expenses, while eating vegetables more often – reports Világgazdaság Online.
