It is in the interest of the environment and the economy to promote the replacement of fertilizers, therefore a new support scheme is being prepared to help set up manure processing plants, Minister of Agriculture Nagy István announced in a statement from the Ministry of Agriculture.

Improvement of manure utilization contributes to fertilizer replacement

The minister explained that it is key for agriculture to replace nutrients and fertilizers as much as possible. The main goal of the Ministry of Agriculture is therefore to promote the environmentally conscious processing and further utilization of organic manure generated in agriculture, which contributes to the reduction of the use of fertilizers.
