AM: field crop production closed a challenging but successful year
This year has once again faced serious challenges for domestic arable crop producers. Extreme weather conditions this year include several months of spring drought and heavy summer rains. In addition to the weather, the difficulties were exacerbated by interruptions caused by the coronavirus, the secretary of state said, noting that despite these challenges, this year’s results in field crop production were particularly favorable, with a historic “record” for this year’s corn yield.
