On July 14, 2022, the Ministry of Agriculture officially submitted the 2021-2027 Hungarian Fisheries Operational Program Plusz (MAHOP Plusz) to the European Commission, the ministry told MTI on Friday.

If the EU gives its approval, more than 20 billion HUF may be available until the end of 2029
The main goal of MAHOP Plusz is to empower micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, to increase the competitiveness and sustainability of fish production and fish processing through innovation and digitalization while reducing the environmental impact. (MTI)
