AM: EU agriculture ministers discuss food security
The European Union has a moral and economic duty to increase its agricultural production, but it is essential to rethink the measures that will reduce production, Feldman Zsolt said in Brussels on Wednesday, according to a statement of the Ministry of Agriculture.
The Secretary of State for Agriculture and Rural Development of the Ministry attended a meeting of the Agriculture and Fisheries Council on 24 May, where agriculture ministers discussed the crisis in the agricultural market and food security following the Russian-Ukrainian war, the statement said.
