AM: Family farms provide the backbone of agriculture

Dairy products account for almost a tenth of food production
The head of the ministry reminded that currently the vast majority of Hungarian agriculture is made up of small and medium-sized primary agricultural producers and family farmers. Their significance is indisputable, so supporting their operation is essential for the further development of Hungarian agriculture and the food industry, he added. Nagy István emphasized that the Hungarian agricultural policy is committed to the development of domestic milk production and milk processing, for which it will provide more resources than ever before this year, they wrote.
